Fujitsu today announced the release of two new models in its FUJITSU Tablet ARROWS Tab line of enterprise tablets running Windows and four new models in its FUJITSU Notebook LIFEBOOK line of enterprise laptop PCs. The new models will be released in Japan in stages starting this month. After a long marketing lull, the company announced 16 new branded devices at once: nine laptops, three desktop PCs, two tablets and two workstations. The company told what audience the new products are aimed at, how much they cost and when they will go on sale.
All new devices designed for the enterprise market run Windows 11 with support for Microsoft Copilot AI features. The LifeBook U9414/R family of laptops received Intel Core Ultra 100 series processors with an NPU module for solving problems using AI computing. The price of laptops, depending on the modification, will be from $2370.
The new tablets include the ARROWS Tab Q775/K, a high-spec water-resistant model with a large 13.3″ screen and a palm-vein sensor for enhanced security and convenience, and the ARROWS Tab Q584/K, a water-resistant model with the latest CPU and a 10.1″ screen. With an extensive range of accessories and resistance to water, dust, and chemicals, these tablets offer business customers a wide range of potential uses to meet their needs.
The new notebook PCs include the 14″ super-slim LIFEBOOK U745/K Ultrabook, the ultra-mobile LIFEBOOK S935/K with a 13.3″ screen and a long 20-hour battery runtime, and two convertible-type the LIFEBOOK T935/K, with a 13.3″ screen, and the T725/K, with a 12.5″ screen, with the flexibility to adapt to different uses.
With models equipped with 5th Generation Intel® Core™ Processors, palm-vein sensor, as well as models supporting CLEARSURE 3G/LTE remote data-deletion, Fujitsu offers an extensive range of products with the high performance to accelerate the transformation in work styles and solid security to suit every business need.
Fujitsu has also developed the FUJITSU Security Solution SMARTACCESS/Virtual v1.0L10, integrated authentication software that can run under virtualized environments. Due to be released in Japan in April 2015, it will enable biometric authentication, such as palm vein authentication as an alternative to login/password combinations in the Windows operating system and in internal systems running on top of VMware, Citrix, etc., for more secure operations in virtual environments.

First introduced in May, the LifeBook TH40D was previously scheduled for a June release in Japan for about $990 USD. Now that the month is almost over, the convertible tablet is still not available, and it seems the device may not be reaching store shelves anytime soon.
According to the Japanese Fujitsu website fmworld.net, the company has delayed the release of the tablet with no information as to why. A revised release window was not given either, meaning it could be months before we next hear about the tablet, if at all.
The 10.1-inch TH40D sports a 1024×600 resolution screen with an Intel Oak Trail 1.5GHz Atom Z670 CPU, 1GB RAM, 120GB HDD and Bluetooth 3.0 with Wi-Fi. The Intel GMA 600 graphics would have provided FullHD 1080p playback under its 32bit Windows 7 OS. As for the chassis, the general makeup had an “Apple-like” aluminum feel but with a snappy slide-out qwerty keyboard.
The unexpected delay comes just a month after the tablet’s first announcement, so it is rather disappointing to hear of its now uncertain future.
The Stylistic family is equipped with 13.3-inch Full HD displays and 12th generation Intel Core processors. The new products will cost from $2060.
The first LifeBook laptops will be available to order in Japan in September, and Esprimo series computers, Celsius workstations and Stylistic tablets in October.
