At the IFA 2024 exhibition in Berlin, the well-known manufacturer of mobile accessories Belkin presented four models of SoundForm wireless headphones at once. Two of them are over-ear, the third novelty is regular TWS headphones, and the fourth is designed for sports.
Belkin International, Inc., is an American consumer electronics company headquartered in El Segundo, California. It produces mobile and computer connectivity devices and peripherals for consumer and commercial use. These include wireless chargers, power banks, charging cables, data cables, audio and video adapters, headphones, earbuds, screen protectors and cases, surge protectors, docking stations and data hubs, secure KVM switches and network cables.
While attending UCLA, Chet Pipkin, who was spending his time in local computer shops, saw the growing need for cables that would connect personal computers to new printers being released for home use. In the early 1980s, Chet Pipkin founded Belkin in his parents’ home in Hawthorne, California, to manufacture computer cables for the new personal computer and tech accessory market. Pipkin began to sell computer-to-printer cables to local computer shops. As Pipkin’s cable connector sales grew in Southern California, he recruited assembly help from his machinist father, brother, and a handful of friends. In 1982, Pipkin left his university studies to focus on expanding the business.

At $59.99, the SoundForm Isolate over-ear headphones support Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency Mode. They also have a function to play a special track recorded in the built-in memory and help you relax.
The headphones use 40mm drivers. They support Bluetooth 5.4 and can connect to two devices at the same time. The headphones are charged via USB Type-C. The battery lasts up to 60 hours without noise cancellation and up to 40 hours when activated. It is also possible to connect the device with a 3.5 mm cable.
The SoundForm Surround model differs from the Isolate only in the absence of noise cancellation and a more affordable price of $39.99.
Belkin SoundForm ClearFit
Belkin SoundForm Rhythm
SoundForm ClearFit and SoundForm Rhythm differ only in form factor. The ClearFit model is suitable for sports due to its secure on-ear fit and IPX5 water resistance. Rhythm are made in a more classic “earplug” design.
Finally, Belkin announced two pairs of earbuds, the $34.99 SoundForm Rhythm and the $59.99 SoundForm ClearFit. The two are separated by form factor — the Rhythm earbuds use an AirPods Pro-like design with in-ear tips, while the IPX5 sweat-resistant ClearFit headphones are sportier open-ear devices with clips that loop over your ears.
You won’t find special audio features like noise cancellation, though; these are both very basic wireless earbuds. Still, Belkin claims they’ll last eight hours on a charge, which isn’t nothing, and they get another 20 hours (or 18 for the ClearFit) from their charging cases. Both are available now.
