MARQ Adventurer smartwatch

Garmin MARQ Adventurer Case The Damascus Steel Edition is made of Damascus steel and is protected from water according to the 10ATM standard. The novelty duplicates the basic model in terms of characteristics. The 1.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with a resolution of 390×390 pixels is covered with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.

The smartwatch can track your workout progress, heart rate, blood oxygen and stress levels. The device is able to analyze the state of the body and adjust sports plans, regulating the load in an optimal way.

The Garmin Marq Aviator, for example, boasts weather reports for specific airports (ideal for pilots), while the Marq Captain model looks like a classic dive watch and features a regatta timer on the bezel.

The Marq Adventurer is a premium smartwatch with a 360-degree rotating compass bezel, as well as all the rest of Garmin’s premium adventuring features including topographical maps support, all-day blood oxygen sensing for altitude acclimation, and advanced GPS capabilities. Ordinarily, the Marq Adventurer Gen 2’s case and bezel is comprised of Grade 5 Titanium, but a recent drop by Garmin has the Marq Adventurer’s case and rotating bezel comprised of Damascus steel.

Damascus steel is well-known for its incredible durability and distinctive wavy design. Described as “forged from the finest materials on Earth”, the Garmin Marq Adventurer (Gen 2) Damascus Steel Edition, to give it its full title, looks absolutely sublime.

Without taking into account the image component, all new products are similar to ordinary fitness watches: they are equipped with an AMOLED touch display, a compass, and can track heart rate, stress and sleep. Despite the same characteristics, in the promotion of watches, the company focuses on those software functions that may appeal to the target audience of a particular series. The new products differ in a set of widgets, as well as the design of the case and strap.

The new Garmin MARQ Adventurer smartwatch costs $3100. Why is it so expensive?

The Garmin Marq Adventurer model is promoted as a smartwatch for travelers and focuses on the route plotting function. And the Acclimatization Advisor app gives recommendations for improving your well-being when changing time zones. When selecting tips, the algorithm analyzes the quality of sleep, heart rate, and physical activity of the user (this function is also available in other models).

The Marq Athlete is the most affordable watch in the updated series. They know how to track stamina metrics and offer customers the Forerunner widget. It displays information about the user’s readiness for training, which is calculated based on various body indicators.

The design of Marq Golfer is reminiscent of a golf course. The gadget is equipped with a rotating bezel and an application for measuring wind speed and direction, based on which you can calculate the trajectory of the ball.

The Marq Captain firmware, in turn, includes functions for interacting with the yacht’s control system, as well as the “Man Overboard” widget. It allows you to mark the coordinates and time of the disappearance of a person at sea.

To navigate without connecting to a smartphone, the gadget uses its own GPS module. The list of modules is complemented by a gyroscope, a thermometer and a barometric altimeter. Finally, the gadget has an internal memory for music and cards, as well as a contactless payment function. The price of the novelty in the US market is $3100.
