Honor has unveiled a new mid-range smartphone called the X9c Smart. Honor X9c is made in a recognizable corporate design with a ring camera unit and received a curious set of characteristics. In addition to a balanced hardware platform, the gadget boasts good body protection from shocks, a fast screen and decent battery life.

The Honor X9c Smart is equipped with a 6.8-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2412×1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 850 nits. The MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra processor in conjunction with 8 GB of RAM is responsible for the performance of the smartphone, the storage capacity is 256 GB.

The company claims that the smartphone can withstand drops from a height of up to 2 m and has passed the test for resistance to abrasions of the case. The promotional materials also indicate the presence of water protection, but the device did not receive the appropriate IP certificate.

The resolution of the main camera of the Honor X9c Smart is 108 megapixels (f/1.75), the ultra-wide camera is 5 megapixels (f/2.2), the front camera is 16 megapixels (f/2.45). The battery capacity with support for 35-watt fast charging is 5800 mAh with a case thickness of 7.88 mm. The novelty runs MagicOS 8 firmware based on Android 14, which includes a software analogue of Dynamic Island and some AI functions (for example, for photo editing).

The smartphone will go on sale on December 11, at the same time its retail price will be announced.
