We reviewed the Realme Buds Air6 Pro last year and we found them to be great buds though a bit pricey. Today, the company has launched the new Realme Buds Air7 ProAir Pro model, and they improve on key features while cutting back the price by CNY 20 – it’s not much, but these have great potential.

The new realme Buds Air7 Pro support noise cancellation and translator mode

The headphones support active noise cancellation up to 53 dB with a maximum bandwidth of up to 5000 Hz. To do this, they use six microphones with AI algorithms to recognize sounds. Two drivers are responsible for the sound in them – an 11 mm woofer and a 6 mm tweeter. The model is compatible with the popular LHDC 5.0, LDAC, AAC and SBC audio codecs. For games and watching videos, there is a mode with a minimum latency of 45 ms.

A feature of the model is the function of translating conversations in real time with support for 32 languages. With their help, you can fully communicate when traveling and during international calls. Autonomy of up to 12 hours for the headphones themselves (up to 6.5 hours with noise cancellation) and up to 48 hours, taking into account recharging from the case, is claimed. There is a fast-charging function: 11 hours of use after 10 minutes in the case.

The Realme Buds Air7 Pro are available today in China on the company’s online store – you can pick them up for CNY 450. This converts to $62/£46/€54/₹5,250.

As with previous models, the new buds have coaxial dual drivers (6mm + 11mm) for detailed treble and dynamic bass. They are Hi-Res Audio Wireless certified and support the LHDC 5.0 codec. Swift Pair and multi-point connectivity are supported.

The buds have a premium design that uses aviation-grade aluminum, a first for this price class. They are rated IP55 for dust and splash resistance and are available in four colors: Sand White, Silver Lime, Wind Green and Fire Red.

The new model boasts improved active noise cancellation (ANC) with up to 53dB noise reduction (up from 50dB). There are six microphones that work in tandem with AI-based noise cancellation for voice calls.

The case of the Realme Buds Air7 Pro is protected against dust and water according to the IP55 standard. There is a function of quick synchronization with Windows computers.

The headphones are already available in China for 449 yuan – or about $61.

The company also introduced an inexpensive and powerful smartphone, the realme GT7.
