CMF Phone 2 Pro

CMF Phone 2 Pro Design, screen, autonomy

The smartphone retained its signature modular aesthetics, although replaceable covers were abandoned. The body is thin and light (7.8 mm, 185 grams), available in black, white, orange and light green. The main material is plastic, while the edges are made of aluminum. Everything fits nicely in the hand and looks unusual against the background of competitors. There is IP54 splash protection and an optical finger scanner. Of the minuses – only one multimedia speaker, albeit a loud one.

Screws on the back are provided for a reason. The phone has a variety of accessories sold separately. The Universal Cover is easy to screw on top of the cover. It contains magnets for attaching a stand with a compartment for a payment card. In addition, there is a round lanyard mount in the corner of the case and interchangeable camera lenses (macro and fisheye). Overall, it’s an entertaining set of extras that you rarely see in the budget class.

The display also turned out to be decent for the segment: a 6.77-inch AMOLED matrix with FHD+ resolution, 10-bit color depth and support for 120 Hz. Separately, experts noted the symmetrical frames and high response rate of the sensor (1000 Hz). The local peak brightness is 3000 nits, the auto mode produces about 1300 nits in sunny weather.

CMF Phone 2 Pro 5000 mAh battery with support for 33-watt charging is installed. Battery life has proven to be good, albeit without surprises. Due to the efficient hardware, the gadget is even able to compete with high-capacity silicon-carbon solutions. In the Pockmark test, the result was 12.63 points. CMF Phone 2 Pro is color White, Black, Orange and Light Green available.

CMF Phone 2 Pro Productivity and shooting

The CMF Phone 2 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro processor along with 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage. The memory can be expanded with a microSD card up to 2 TB. The chipset, of course, is not the fastest in its class. But in everyday tasks, everything functions quickly. In games, miracles should not be expected, although optimization for Battlegrounds Mobile India has been announced. Indicators in benchmarks:

  • AnTuTu — 688 050;
  • Geekbench 6 — 1011 (single-core), 2898 (multicore);
  • 3DMark Wild Life Extreme — 850.

The device comes with Nothing OS 3.0 firmware based on Android 15 OS. The interface is pretty clean and close to the stock system, but with branded icons and fonts. The manufacturer promises three numbered OS upgrades and six years of security patches – a decent period of updates. The main feature of the shell is the Essential Space menu, which is connected to a separate physical Essential Key button. A short press takes a screenshot, and holding adds a voice note to it. It’s convenient to capture your ideas and reminders on the go so that the AI can organize them in the Essential Space section.

A triple rear camera is installed, which is remarkable for an inexpensive class of devices. The main sensor (50 megapixels, 1/1.57″) is complemented by telephoto (50 megapixels, 2x zoom) and ultra-wide (8 megapixels, 119.5°); There is a 16-megapixel front camera. For its price, the main module produces pleasant pictures in good lighting. The color reproduction is accurate, there are enough details, there is a 2x optical zoom. Experts called the wide-angle lens a weak point. Its very presence is commendable, but even in optimal conditions, the results are not of very high quality.
