The HOBOT LEGEE-Q10 PRO with a cleaning station is one of them. Let’s talk about the novelty in more detail. Robot vacuum cleaners have spoiled us so much that we want to automate the process as much as possible. The gadget must not only vacuum, wash the floor, but also clean itself, and then go to the “garage” to charge.

HOBOT LEGEE-Q10 PRO: Solid appearance and thoughtful design

The robot is a white puck with turquoise edging – 35 x 35 cm with a height of about 10 centimeters and a weight of just over 3 kg. On top of the device is a four-button control stick, a lidar tower, and an LED indicator. Under the lid there is a water container, a garbage container and a cleaning tool.

On the end of the device, there is a bumper, a side retractable brush, a laser sensor, a filling hole and a port, as well as contacts for charging at the LuLu station. If you turn the assistant over, you will see two bells: one collects dirt, the other does not allow hair and fur to get on the turbobrush. There is a vibrating mop with a napkin and wheels made in the form of tracks, like a tank. They extend about a couple of centimeters, which is enough for the HOBOT LEGEE-Q10 PRO to board small obstacles.

The package is rich: along with the vacuum cleaner itself, there are two microfiber cloths, an additional side brush, an air washable filter, spray nozzles and a needle for cleaning them in the box. Also, a power wire, instructions and a warranty card are required.

This is a white box with a ramp and a compartment for washing and drying napkins. It works like this: you fill in clean water and start the station. After cleaning, the HOBOT LEGEE-Q10 PRO drives up to the station, charges, washes and dries the napkin, and also replenishes the container with water. Then he rolls on to his robots. After a series of cleanings, you will only have to drain the water from the tank with dirty water, which is located at the self-cleaning station. It’s not difficult: open the top lid, take out the tank, pour out the liquid and put the container in place. That’s it – the station is ready for operation.

First, a few characteristics and advantages of the robot. Declared:

Before testing, we deliberately scattered garbage: nut husks and pizza slices; There were also enough crumbs and hair on the floor, and in one of the corners there was a stain from spilled coffee. At the first launch, the HOBOT LEGEE-Q10 PRO went to study the entrusted site, “scanning” the dwelling to build a map. He did it in a few minutes, after which we started the standard wet cleaning mode.

The robot began to do four things at once: vacuuming, brushing debris, moistening the floor, and vibrating with microfiber to scrub away stains. He moved quickly, gradually clearing the apartment. The power is really decent: HOBOT LEGEE-Q10 PRO absorbed crumbs and other debris without any problems, and the retractable brush went well along the walls and under the cabinets, collecting a month’s worth of debris and dust. The robot coped with the stain quite well: it remained, but it became noticeably smaller. Then we started a special “Stain remover” mode and the vacuum cleaner, having carefully walked around the room, removed the stain clean.

For carpets with short and medium pile types, the device is generally suitable. The robot understands when it drives onto the carpet, raising the platform by about a centimeter – this way the pile does not urinate. The smart assistant also takes small obstacles with a bang; it doesn’t hit the walls in vain – several smart sensors are triggered. After a few cycles, we looked at how much dirt had accumulated in the garbage container. It was about 15% full – the automatic press affects. Perhaps the container can be emptied about once a month if you have a medium-sized apartment.

The noise level corresponds to the stated. You can talk while being in the same room with the vacuum cleaner and not really raise your voice. Thanks to the front bell, nothing wound on the robot’s turbobrush, but in a good way, this should be checked after 3-4 months of operation. Well, or test in an apartment where a dozen chow chows live.

But the benefits of the self-cleaning station are obvious – we filled with clean water, the robot identified the station and after cleaning went to rinse. A special device cleaned the napkin in a few minutes. You can also turn on drying, the full cycle takes up to 180 minutes. After all the procedures, we only have to drain the dirty water, and this can be done a maximum of once a week. By the way, the robot is also charged at the station, so there is no need to drive it separately to charge.

Autonomy at the level: cleaning 32 square meters with high suction power and wet cleaning took about 10% of the charge. This means that with a full battery, the HOBOT LEGEE-Q10 PRO can easily cope with even a large apartment of 80-90 square meters without requiring recharging.

What’s with the app

Control and monitoring take place through the proprietary HOBOT LEGEE-Q10 PRO application. Connecting to the vacuum cleaner is easy but be aware of the Wi-Fi network requirement – only the 2.4 GHz band is supported.

The application allows you to flexibly configure the operation of the device. The main screen displays a map of the room built by the robot and can be edited. For example, mark out rooms, install virtual walls and no-go areas where cleaning is undesirable. And if the vacuum cleaner missed some stain, you can indicate on the map where you need to return to the washout.

A separate feature is the user area with curtains. The robot in this area will navigate by touching the bumper, cleaning every corner not only under the curtains, but also under the “skirts” of sofas and beds. Another interesting feature is that if you are bored with the standard voice acting of a vacuum cleaner, you can make your own version. For example, dictate commands with your voice, record the lines of characters from a movie or put on music. There is even an alarm clock and “reminder” function.

Through the application, it is easy to choose the mode of operation: from quiet “Eco” to the most powerful for difficult dirt. There is a custom mode where you can adjust the suction power, water intensity, vibration level, and so on. You can also see the battery level and cleaning history, and you can also send the vacuum cleaner for charging and a wipes self-cleaning station with one button — convenient.
