Samsung Galaxy M16 specs confirmed by benchmark

The Geekbench database has published the results of testing the Galaxy M16 smartphone, which has not yet been announced by the manufacturer. Thanks to this, its key hardware specifications became known. According to the source, Samsung‘s future novelty will receive a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor – the same as the Galaxy A16 5G.

The tested device was equipped with 8 GB of RAM, but most likely there will be other configurations. According to rumors, the novelty may be equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a frequency of 90 Hz and a triple rear camera with 50, 5 and 2 megapixel sensors. The price and announcement date of the smartphone have not yet been announced.

Xiaomi will launch its own 3nm processor for smartphones

Taiwanese publications UDN and DigiTimes reported that Xiaomi is preparing for the premiere of a proprietary SoC for mobile devices of the Redmi and POCO series. In October, there was already a rumor on the network that the company had completed the development of a 3-nanometer processor project, and it would go into production in early 2025. Some sources even claim that the chip is already ready.

At one time, the vendor already released a mobile processor called Surge S1 for the Xiaomi Mi5C smartphone, but the idea did not receive further development then. Specifications and premiere date of the future novelty are not reported.

Samsung Develops 500Hz OLED Monitor

According to the South Korean publication ETNews, the company plans to introduce the world’s first 27-inch OLED monitor with 1440p resolution and a refresh rate of 500 Hz. Now the record in this area belongs to the LG UltraGear 27GX790A-B and ASUS ROG Swift PG27AQDP models, which have 480 Hz panels.
