HONOR today launched the HONOR Pad GT, a gaming-focused tablet, in China along with the HONOR GT Pro smartphone. The tablet’s slim, all-metal body weighs 480g and is just 6.12mm thick, designed with a wear-resistant and anti-fouling surface for durability and comfort.
Honor has unveiled the Pad GT gaming tablet. The novelty is equipped with a screen with a high refresh rate, a powerful processor from MediaTek and a 10,100 mAh battery. At the same time, the novelty in the basic configuration costs a little more than $ 250.
The Honor Pad GT is made in a metal case and is equipped with an 11.5-inch IPS screen with 2.8K resolution, a refresh rate of 144 Hz and IMAX Enhanced certification. The display is capable of displaying 1.07 billion colors, and the maximum brightness is 500 nits.
The tablet is based on the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme Edition processor with support for the proprietary Turbo X system, which analyzes load scenarios using AI and optimizes resources. To prevent overheating, a large cooling system with an area of 22,000 mm² is used. The built-in 10,100 mAh battery supports 66W fast charging: according to the manufacturer, you can get a couple of hours of active work in 15 minutes.
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme Edition, the Pad GT uses HONOR Turbo X to optimize performance and power efficiency. This AI-powered system improves gaming by predicting lag risks, allocating resources efficiently, and using asynchronous computing to ensure smooth gameplay.
The tablet comes with a 13MP rear camera, an 8MP front camera, and a 10,100mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. The cooling system features a 22,000 mm² heat dissipation area and 50% improved graphite thermal conductivity, reducing SOC temperature by up to 10°C during intense use.
For audio, eight speakers provide spatial audio positioning, offering strong bass and clear treble for an immersive experience. The tablet supports keyboard and mouse mapping and is compatible with over 18 mainstream games for a PC-like gaming experience. It also works with mainstream game controllers for versatile gaming.
Running MagicOS 9.0, based on Android 15, the tablet supports Magic Pen and includes AI-powered features like AI Notes, multi-format document compatibility, and desktop-style free window functionality. It also allows seamless connectivity with other HONOR devices.
