Nubia has announced the Z70S Ultra Photographer Edition, a smartphone for mobile photography enthusiasts. In addition to advanced cameras, the novelty received an under-screen front camera, a top-end Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a capacious battery and IP69 protection.
The main feature of the Nubia Z70S Ultra Photographer Edition is the custom 50MP Light and Shadow Master 990 sensor from OmniVision. It is complemented by a lens with a focal length of 35 mm, as in the vivo X200 Ultra, and an advanced four-phase autofocus system horizontally and vertically.
In addition to the main module, the smartphone is equipped with a 64-megapixel camera (OmniVision OV64B) with a periscope telephoto lens with optical stabilization and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens with the ability to take macro photos from a distance of only 2.5 cm.
The manufacturer did not limit itself to built-in lenses. Along with the smartphone, a photo set with a T-mount adapter, support for standard 67 mm filters and the ability to connect removable lenses is offered. In collaboration with Fotogear, the company has developed five interchangeable lenses, including a 400mm super-telephoto lens.
The screen in the smartphone will delight haters of cutouts. It is a 6.85-inch BOE Q9+ OLED screen with 1.5K resolution, up to 144Hz refresh rate, and 2000 nits peak brightness. The front camera is completely hidden under the display, so there are no holes here: only a solid picture on 95.3% of the front panel area.
Inside the Nubia Z70S Ultra Photographer Edition is a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Up to 24GB of RAM LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage are available. The 6600 mAh battery supports 80W fast charging. The device comes with Android 15 and the proprietary Nebula AIOS shell. There is support for Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC.
The novelty is already available in China for pre-order at a price of 4599 yuan (about 52 thousand rubles) for the 12 + 256 GB version. The top 24GB + 1TB option costs 6299 yuan (approximately 71,285 rubles). A branded photo set costs 899 yuan (10 thousand rubles).
