OPPO just launched the Oppo K13x 5G, the company’s latest smartphone in the K series in India, as it had promised. The phone has MIL-STD-810H certification and has been rigorously tested in the harshest of environments and conditions, be it extreme heat, moisture, and for shock resistance. It also has IP65 ratings for dust and water resistance compared to IP54 ratings in the predecessor.
The handset features a 360-degree Damage-Proof Armour Body. It is said to use a biomimetic Sponge Shock Absorption System, inspired by sea sponges, which improves shock resistance as per the company. The IP65 dust and water resistance-rated smartphone has Corning Gorilla Glass 7i on the front. The Oppo K13x 5G packs a 6,000mAh battery, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, and a 50-megapixel dual rear camera unit.
OPPO has released a budget “shockproof” smartphone K13x 5G. It has received several protection certificates and a capacious battery and is also made of durable materials.
The OPPO K12x has a 6.67-inch HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1000 nits of peak brightness, features segment-first Splash Touch technology that lets users operate its touchscreen with wet hands or even if the screen is wet, said the company. The K13x 5G comes with Android 15 and will receive 2 OS updates and 3 years of security updates.
It is powered by Dimensity 6300 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM, has a 50MP rear camera along with a 2MP portrait camera and an 8MP camera on the front. The phone is just 7.99 mm, has matte finish on the back and around its frame for a smooth and comfortable grip. The phone packs a 6000mAh battery with 45W SuperVOOC charger in the box.
Oppo K13x 5G Price in India, Availability
Oppo K13x 5G price in India is set at Rs. 11,999 for the 4GB + 128GB RAM and storage configuration. The 6GB and 8GB variants are priced at Rs. 12,999 and Rs. 14,999, respectively. The handset is available in Midnight Violet and Sunset Peach color options. Customers will be able to purchase the phone via Flipkart and the official site starting June 27.
