The Tecno Pova 7 Ultra 5G features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chipset and running Android 15 w/ HiOS 15. It includes a 108MP OIS main camera + secondary sensor and a 13MP wide selfie camera. Powering the device is a 6,000mah silicon-carbon battery with 70W wired fast charging and 30W wireless charging.
TECNO has fully declassified the previously announced Tecno Pova 7 Ultra 5G smartphone with the original design of the camera unit. In addition to the unusual design, the novelty will boast of several more interesting characteristics – for example, a capacious battery, an “esports” display and stereo sound.
Last month, Tecno unveiled the Tecno Pova Curve 5G in India. Now, the brand has globally introduced Pova 7 series, featuring five distinct smartphones designed to appeal to tech enthusiasts and gamers. The lineup includes the Pova 7 Ultra 5G, Pova 7 Pro 5G, Pova 7 5G, Pova 7, and Pova Curve 5G.
The gadget is based on the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate processor and is equipped with a proprietary Hyper Cooling System, the design of which includes a vapor chamber with a heat sink area of 5300 mm². According to the manufacturer, this solution makes the chip an average of 3 °C cooler when operating under load compared to traditional systems.
At the top of the range, the Tecno Pova 7 Ultra model is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chip and comes with a 6,000mAh battery. It supports 70W wired charging, 30W wireless, and even 10W reverse charging. Gaming performance is boosted by a 12-layer Hyper Cooling System and a vapor chamber, while 4D vibration and dual speakers with Dolby Atmos deliver immersive sound. Additional features include Free Link for peer-to-peer calls and Tecno’s AI suite, cantered around the AI Anywhere Portal.
The Pro version shares the family design language and charging features of the Ultra, including 30W wireless fast charging. It also offers the full set of AI tools found in the Ultra model, making it a compelling choice for users who want a premium experience without going all the way up to the Ultra tier.
This base 5G model rounds out the core trio of performance-driven devices. It carries forward the series-wide support for 30W wireless fast charge, AI Anywhere functions, and bold, minimalist styling. With a focus on speed and efficiency, it offers excellent value for on-the-go users. The entry-level Tecno Pova 7 (4G) sticks to the sleek triangular design motif, incorporates 30W wireless charging, and embeds the Pova AI tools set.
