A new insider report on the Google Pixel 10 smartphone includes almost complete hardware specifications of the future novelty. Judging by the latest selection of data, the device will be better than its predecessor in most of the main indicators.

With so many leaks about Google’s next flagship already out on the internet, we already have a good idea of what to expect from the Pixel 10 series. But now, a new leak from Android Headlines nearly gives away all the specifications of the device. This includes all the notable upgrades, and a few surprising downgrades.

A Google Pixel 10 advertisement that was being filmed on a public beach in Vancouver, Canada, has inadvertently revealed details about the phone’s design and possible new AI features. The leak originated from X user @MarksGonePublic, who shared behind-the-scenes photos of a professional shoot and a storyboard that clearly identifies the device as the Google Pixel 10.

According to the user, he stumbled upon a “full-on commercial shoot” for the device, which appears to carry the campaign tagline “Ask more of your phone.” He wrote: Just out for a walk…stumbled onto a full-on commercial shoot for the Google Pixel 10. They had a macro probe lens, a Panavision rig, and 20+ crew members…to film someone holding a phone.

Although the Google Pixel 10 is yet to be officially announced, the leaked images suggest a design closely resembling the Pixel 9 Pro. The visuals show two circular sensors—believed to be a flash and a thermometer sensor—alongside the power button, volume rocker, and oval-like camera lenses, just like its predecessor.

The included storyboards place a strong focus on the camera. One showcases a clean product shot, while another appears to highlight a feature titled “Add Me.” Also visible in the leak are two distant real-world shots of the Google Pixel 10 Pro in the black Obsidian finish, again echoing the look of the Pixel 9 Pro. Given Google’s recent AI announcements around its Gemini platform at I/O 2025, it’s likely the Pixel 10 will arrive equipped with enhanced generative AI (GenAI) features.

According to Android Headlines, citing industry sources, the Pixel 10, like its predecessor, it will receive a 6.3-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protective glass. At the same time, the maximum brightness of the backlight will increase from 1800 to 2000 cd/m², and the peak brightness in HDR mode will increase from 2700 to 3000 cd/m².

The Tensor G5 SoC, manufactured using TSMC‘s 3nm process, will be responsible for the performance of the gadget. The amount of RAM will be 12 GB RAM, storage – up to 512 GB, battery capacity – 4970 mAh with support for wired charging 29W and 15W wireless (Qi2).

Google Pixel 10 cameras may not be a big upgrade, with the report suggesting no change in the primary camera. The upcoming phone may house a 48MP primary sensor, the same as the Pixel 9a, alongside a 10.8MP telephoto sensor that exists on the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. However, the ultrawide camera on the Google Pixel 10 could be a downgrade: a 12MP sensor instead of a 48MP camera. Unless Google convinces us that a lower-resolution camera can offer the same picture quality, the choice seems very confusing.

Reports suggest the iPhone 17 will be a significant upgrade over the iPhone 16, featuring a new A19 processor, a ProMotion display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and more or less the same cameras as the iPhone 16. The next standard iPhone model is also expected to offer more useful features such as multi-cam video recording and more Apple Intelligence tools. On the other hand, the Google Pixel 10 is shaping up to be an incremental upgrade over the Pixel 9, so while it may appeal to Android loyalists, it could struggle to counter Apple’s next iPhone.

Other features: The Google Pixel 10 is rumored to have 12GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB and 256GB. It may also include an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. It is already known that the premiere of the line The Google Pixel 10 will take place on August 28, but the source did not say the price of the smartphone.
